Mission:
To create an "asthma friendly" community by promoting awareness, education, management, and prevention.
Objectives:
This coalition is a diverse group of 85 members, representing 40 organizations/agencies comprised of medical professionals, public health professionals, government agencies, community-based organizations, and others dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with asthma through information-sharing, networking, and advocacy.
Members volunteer their time to meet and strategize approaches to making Stanislaus County an "asthma friendly" community through:

- Strategic Planning & Policy Advocacy
General meetings are held on a quarterly basis on a Wednesday, 12:30p.m. - 2 p.m.

How to become a Member:
Membership shall be open to individuals who have a passion and commitment to decrease morbidity and mortality due to asthma within Stanislaus County. Membership is a volunteer position without compensation. The time and support of our members is valuable and appreciated. Members are a key component in successfully preventing and controlling asthma.
