- For information on free hypnotherapy for teen smokers, call Evergreen
Professional Hypnotherapy at 472-0722 or the San Joaquin Safety Council,
472-7233. * Some schools, including Modesto, Johansen, Turlock and Hughson
high schools, offer smoking cessation programs and counseling on campus.
Students who want to quit should contact their school counselor for
more information.
- The Stanislaus County Health Services Agency offers Freedom from Smoking
classes through its Tobacco Education Program. Cost is $30 for seven
sessions. The next session begins March 1 and meets Mondays and Thursdays
from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 2501 McHenry Blvd., Suite E, Modesto. To
register or to obtain a list of additional classes call 558-4803 or
558-6056.
