Letter to the Editor
The symposium at the King Kennedy Center on Feb. 2 drew more than 200
people to discuss the health disparities facing African-American infants
in Stanislaus County.
The topic of rap music and the effect of hip-hop culture on today's youths
proved to be the key to attracting the ears of many of the community's
residents.
The Health Services Agency's Black Infant Health Task Force could not
have produced this successful event without the contribution of its many
partners. It is through partnerships like these that the health of the
community can and will improve.
