Among them, these seven volunteers have devoted 46,731 hours over a cumulative 113 years to the Stanislaus County Health Services Agency.

Tuesday they were honored at an “89 and Plus Celebration,” so named because all the
volunteers are at least 89 years old. In the front row, from left, are Dorothy Mattox,
Lilly Kelly and Alicemae Walker. Behind them are Vivian Dow, Ruth Kolody, Olen Miller and Martha Zimmerman. At the celebration in the lobby of the Health Services Agency on Scenic Drive in Modesto, each of the honorees received gifts, cards and awards, including
certificates from the county Board of Supervisors and the United Way.
