A workshop for people with the human immunodeficiency virus will begin
today and be offered each Wednesday through June 26 by the Stanislaus
County Health Services Agency and Kaiser Permanente.
The workshop is designed as a positive self-management program covering
how to deal with stress and anxiety, managing medications, exercising,
eating well, communicating effectively, relaxing and enjoying life.
Sessions will be from 6 to 9 p.m. in the public health conference room
at 820 Scenic Drive, Modesto. Food and drinks will be provided.
