The Stanislaus Health Services Agency has announced that additional flu
vaccine is still available for vaccination of Stanislaus County residents,
ages 6 months and over. The influenza season usually peaks in February,
so December is not too late for flu shots.
Flu shots are available on a “walk-in” basis at the Stanislaus
County Public Health Department main office at 820 Scenic Drive in Modesto.
The office is open from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday,
and on Friday
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Donations will be gladly
accepted.
The public can call 558-8866 or 558-4818 for more information. A recorded
message on flu in English and Spanish is available by calling Stanislaus
County Health Services Agency’s flu hotline at 558-8872.
