I read with great interest your feature on black community leaders. I
would like to add the names of two quiet black leaders who contribute
daily to all of us: Dr. John Walker, the county's public health officer,
is passionate in his dedication to maintaining the health of all of us.
Cleopathia Moore is the associate director of the Health Services Agency.
In this role, she has been the leader in the West Modesto King-Kennedy
Collaborative and multiple health programs. These two fine people deserve
recognition for their daily contributions.
