You printed an important article on the "Dire Dental Dilemma" (Feb. 19, Page B-1) and how it affects children.

The article did not mention that the Stanislaus County Health Services Agency Foundation raised money through the O'Brien's Market FORE HSA Charity Golf Classic last year to extend the dental sealant program so that the Shackelford students could benefit. Many local businesses and individuals support the work of the HSA in providing health care to the underserved. The foundation plans to continue its support of the dental sealant program with money raised at this year's tournament, April 10.
