More than 150 people attended a daylong exercise in Modesto on Wednesday to learn how to combat bird flu. Participants from government agencies and private organizations met at Modesto Centre Plaza for the exercise put on by the Stanislaus County Health Services Agency. They learned how the government and private sector can work together in case a real viral pandemic occurs.
