Stanislaus County Chief Executive Officer Richard W. Robinson
has announced the appointment of Mary Ann Lee as the Managing
Director of the County Health Services Agency. Lee has been
filling the role of Interim Managing Director for the Agency
since January of this year.
“We conducted a nationwide search for this critical
position and were very pleased to find our most qualified
candidate was right here in our backyard,” stated
Robinson. “We have the highest confidence that with
Mary Ann’s leadership we will be able to move forward
successfully in implementation our strategic plan for the
Health Services Agency.”
Lee has worked at the Health Services Agency since June
1, 1999, and has been a strong leader in overseeing the
areas of managed care, health coverage and quality services.
She previously served as Vice President of Contract Management
for the Cleveland Health Network and as Sr. Director Provider
Network Management for National Health Plans. Lee is a participant
in the Blue Cross State Sponsored Programs Community Advisory
Committee, the Stanworks Advisory Committee, the Children’s
coordinating Council, and the emergency Medical Services
Committee. She received her BS from California Polytech
State University, San Luis Obispo and her MBA from Regis
University in Colorado.
