I need to tell you a great story about the Stanislaus County Urgent Care facility. On Aug.19, I had chest pains. My experience at the local hospital emergency rooms was that they were crowded, and a long wait was the norm.

I knew the urgent care clinic on Scenic Drive didn't automatically bill my insurance company, but I didn't care. I went there anyway and I was glad to see only three people in the waiting area. The receptionist, on hearing my symptoms, got me immediate attention. I was having a heart attack.
