Not even the most health-conscious eaters seem exempt from the recent E.coli outbreak.
Nancy Sohl, 50, of Modesto rarely eats out and never eats meat.

"You won't find dried, frozen or canned in my house," she said.

Though she knew about the outbreak and started showing signs of E.coli Oct. 2, Sohl, a Bee copy editor, didn't think it would affect her.
