Stanislaus County supervisors approved a $946.35 million
interim budget Tuesday night, after first deciding that
they shouldn't get a raise in the process.
The county's final budget will be considered in September,
after the state budget is finalized. Several aspects of
the county budget depend on state funding.
The interim budget proposal included a 3.75 percent increase
in supervisor salaries this year and another 3.75 percent
next year. The supervisors make $68,078 a year.
