| It
has been said that the measure of a person is not what they get, but what
they give.
For over 30 years, the volunteers of the Stanislaus County Health Services
Agency (HSA) have provided needed support to the HSA through thousands
of hours of service and thousands of dollars of financial funding.
The volunteers of the HSA are pleased to announce a gift of $21,205 that
is being made to the HSA to support the purchase of medical and community
outreach equipment. The donation will fund health screening equipment,
a laboratory microscope and educational programs that will be provided
by various departments in the HSA.
HSA volunteers serve as customer service representatives, offer clerical
assistance, work in cooperation with Delta Blood Bank to coordinate and
recruit blood donors and also operate a gift shop that generates funds
that are donated to the HSA.
