| STANISLAUS
COUNTY – The Stanislaus County Health Services Agency Public
Health Department is announcing new hours of service for childhood and adolescent
immunizations. The extended hours of service are designed to improve community
access.
Childhood and adolescent immunizations are now available Monday through
Thursday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Public Health Department's 820
Scenic Drive location. The office is remaining open through the lunch
hour and is extending their hours to accommodate more working families.
This change is in effect immediately.
The services were previously offered Monday through Thursday between
8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and Fridays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The Department is eliminating immunization service on Fridays at the
820 Scenic location in order to expand their afternoon hours of service
past their previous 5 p.m. close. The Department will continue Friday
operations of childhood and adolescent immunization clinics at other locations
in Modesto, Ceres and Oakdale.
The Public Health Department currently provides childhood and adolescent
immunizations at over 20 locations throughout Stanislaus County.
The Stanislaus County Health Services Agency (HSA) is an outpatient medical
system with 9 medical offices located throughout Stanislaus County. The
HSA operates the Public Health Department, an Urgent Care Center and multiple
programs serving over 400,000 patients and clients each year in Stanislaus
County. The HSA also is in local partnerships for the MOMobile project
and the Stanislaus Family Practice Residency Program.
