County Health Executive Named To Advisory Committee Of Health Partnership

Stanislaus County, CA – Cle Moore, Director of Community Health Services for the Stanislaus County Health Services Agency, has been named to the Advisory Committee of the Partnership for the Public's Health program.

The Advisory Committee is part of a five-year collaboration plan developed between the California Endowment and the Public Health Institute. The role of the collaborative partnership is to reshape public health systems, infrastructure and processes in a way that is more responsive to the health priorities of local communities. One of the main goals is to align the missions and individual strengths of both organizations to promote and improve the health of Californians.

The committee will provide advice on the development, implementation and assessment of this high profile $37 million initiative. The initiative seeks to use the following strategies: 1) grants to communities to develop and implement systems improvement and civic engagement strategies locally; 2) statewide policy development linking community priorities to state policy and funding changes, and; 3) research and dissemination.

Community grantees will be supported through comprehensive technical assistance and other supportive resources.
