County, CA – Community support helped to raise over $28,000
at the recent String of Pearls Masquerade Ball, hosted by the Stanislaus
County Health Services Agency Foundation.
Proceeds of the event go toward children's services provided throughout
the Health Services Agency.
"Not only has this become an amazing event that the community enjoys,
but it also shows that community support is continuing to grow for the
work of the Foundation," said David Jones, director of development
for the Foundation.
The Masquerade Ball featured a baroque-period theme, with many beautifully
ornate, custom-made ball gowns and costumes. The event also featured a
traditional promenade where all the gowns could be seen. A juggler, magician
and two live bands were featured at the event.
