County, CA – John Schaper has been named the new Assistant
Director of Ambulatory Services for the Stanislaus County Health Services
Agency (HSA). Schaper joins the HSA effective November 22, 1999.
Schaper's responsibilities will include management of radiology, laboratory,
pharmacy and rehabilitation services. He will also assist in process improvement
efforts in HSA medical offices as well as assist with special projects
for the Agency.
Schaper comes to the HSA with an extensive background in management of
clinical services such as laboratory, radiology and pharmacy. He also
has an extensive background in medical office and hospital administration.
Schaper joins the Agency from his most recent position in Nevada, where
he was the administrator for a primary care clinic system with three satellite
medical office locations.
The Stanislaus County Health Services agency is an outpatient medical
system with 9 medical offices located throughout Stanislaus County. The
HSA also operates the Public Health Department, an Urgent Care Center
and multiple programs serving over 400,000 patients and clients each year
in Stanislaus County. The HSA also is in local partnerships for the MOMobile
project and the Stanislaus Family Practice Residency Program.
