Stanislaus
County, CA – Phoebe Leung, Associate Administrator of the Stanislaus
County Health Services Agency, was recently named to the Advisory Board
of the Nutrition and Fitness Policy Action Council. The Council is a committee
of the California Elected Women's Association for Education and Research.
Leung will be responsible for providing oversight for policy recommendations
and strategy statements for the Council. She also will assist with strategy
development for the implementation of project recommendations. The position
is a one-year appointment.
The Stanislaus County Health Services agency is an outpatient medical
system with 9 medical offices located throughout Stanislaus County. The
HSA also operates the Public Health Department, an Urgent Care Center
and multiple programs serving over 400,000 patients and clients each year
in Stanislaus County. The HSA also is in local partnerships for the MOMobile
project and the Stanislaus Family Practice Residency Program.
