Health Services Agency Volunteers take lunch to share at Elliot Alternative Education Center in celebration of partnership for the arts.

Stanislaus County – Volunteers from the Stanislaus County Health Services Agency Volunteer Services organization will be providing lunch to Diane Jackson's art students at Elliott Alternative Education Center on Wednesday, February 25 from 10:45 a.m. - 11:10 a.m. The location of the lunch will be Mrs. Jackson's class, room 2 at 1440 Sunrise Avenue in Modesto. The lunch is in celebration of the ongoing partnership between the students and the mostly senior-age volunteers of the HSA.

For the past 2 years, art students from Elliott have created and provided HSA with beautiful works of art for display at the 830 Scenic Drive HSA location. Currently, the artwork is displayed in several hallways and patient waiting areas.

The artwork has brightened the corridors of the agency and has received notice from patients and staff alike. Some artwork on display has been purchased by appreciative visitors or agency staff.

The Stanislaus County Health Services Agency (HSA) is an outpatient medical system with 7 medical offices located throughout Stanislaus County. The HSA operates the Public Health Department, an Urgent Care Center and multiple programs serving over 500,000 patients and clients each year in Stanislaus County. The HSA has extensive community health information available at its web site www.hsahealth.org
