  Asthma Fair 2004
   
  Event to raise awareness of asthma and how to cope
   
  Stanislaus County – The Stanislaus County Asthma Coalition will be holding “Asthma Fair 2004” on Saturday, May 22 between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m at Thomas Downey High School, 1000 Coffee Road in Modesto. The public can learn about asthma symptoms, triggers, controlling asthma, medications, monitoring and developing an asthma action plan. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists and other health professionals will be on-hand to answer questions about asthma. Door prizes will be given away at the event.

The event is free to the public and is sponsored by Sutter Gould Medical Foundation and Modesto City Schools. For more information, the public can call (209) 558-4846.

The goal of the Stanislaus County Asthma Coalition is to create an asthma friendly community by promoting awareness, education, management and prevention of asthma.
